A.O.Smith Floor Standing Electric Residential Water Heaters- Promax Series

Promax Series of water heaters are Residential Electric Floor Standing Models ranging from 30 Gallons to 120 Gallons. These water heaters are Manufactured in USA and are UL certified.

1. 30 Gallons: Available in Tall and Low Boy Models.
2. 40 Gallons: Available in Tall and Low Boy Models.
3. 50 Gallons: Available in Low Boy Models.
4. 55 Gallons: Available in Tall Model.
5. 66 Gallons: Available in Tall Model.
6. 120 Gallons: Available in Tall Model.

Technical Features:

Heating Element Commercial grade Incoloy sheathed elements with Ni-Chrome resistance wire embedded in magnesium oxide. Range 1.5 to 4.5 kW, rated 230 Volt, suitable for 220-240 Volt power supply

Thermostats

Surface mounted control thermostats with a temperature range from 43°C/110°F to maximum 71°C/160°F and hi-limit factory fixed setting at 83°C/180°F.Thermostats are accurate to ± 2.5°C/5°F.

Diffuser Dip Tube

Diffuser Dip tube carries incoming cold water from the top Connection to the bottom of the tank to minimize mixing with the hot water in the tank. Helps reduce lime and sediment buildup while maximizing hot water output. Made from long-lasting PEX cross-linked polymer.

Magnesium Anode

Our Coregard™ Magnesium Anode rods have a Stainless-Steel core that extends the life of the anode rod allowing superior tank protection far longer than standard anode rods.

Brass Drain Valve

Durable, Tamper-Resistant Brass Drain Valve.

Pressure Rating

The Internal Pressure Tank is constructed of Heavy-Duty Carbon Steel. Maximum Working Pressure is rated at 150 Psi /10 Bar. Test Pressure as per UL 174 std is 300 Psi / 20 Bar.

Internal Coating

Specially developed Glass Coating protects steel tank from corrosion and maximizes tank life.

Temperature and Pressure Safety Relief Valve

Factory installed, side-mounted, CSA/ASME certified T&P safety relief valve is standard on all models.

Code Compliance

Code Compliance meets the Federal Energy Efficiency Standards according to the 2004 edition of the National Appliance Energy Conservation Act (NAECA) of 1992 and the standby loss requirements of the U. S. Department of Energy and Current Edition of ASHRAE/IES 90.1.

Residential export water heaters comply with UL 174, GSO, PAI and IEC 60335-2-21.

Power Supply:

The Water Heaters are suitable for operation on 1-Phase, 220-240 Volts and 50 Hz Power Supply.
